Here are the 2021 Capital Music Awards finalists
The Capital Music Awards celebrate a small but important 2nd birthday this year. The 2021
award finalists were announced this week and winners will be named in a special broadcast on
May 7.
Finalists in the eight award categories include Asuquomo, Night Lovell, Harea Band, The
PepTides, Marie-Clo, Moonfruits, DRAE, Jessica Pearson & The East Wind, Paragon Cause,
TwoTiime, Tiagz, CĂ©leste LĂ©vis, and Andrew Cassara.
Several artists are nominated for multiple awards, but none more than CĂ©leste LĂ©vis who is
nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Production, and Virtual Performance of
the Year. Andrew Cassara, Night Lovell, Tiagz, and Marie-Clo follow closely with three
nominations each.
We already knew the finalists for Single, Video, and Virtual Performance of the Year, which
went to a public vote in April. The results of that vote will be held in secret until the May 7 award
show hosted by CHUO radio host Anne-Marie Brugger and SHIFTER Magazine’s Kevin Bourne.
The Capital Music Awards show will air at 8pm on May 7, 2021.

performing in the virtual gala include Céleste Lévis, Baëbe Ruth, The Commotions,
LeFLOFRANCO, and JW-Jones.
