Morning Metal – Slipknot’s “The Negative One” First Single In Six Years!
Concerning metal music, Slipknot are one of the titans. It took six years, and it was well worth the wait. Stating it will be a combination of 2001’s Iowa and 2004’s Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses), they couldn’t be more right. It does not lack brutality or energy, whatsoever.
Slipknot have released their first single since 2008’s All Hope Is Gone, and the first without bassist Paul Gray who passed away in May 2010 and Joey Jordison who was “fired” from the band in December of 2013.
Slipknot has been releasing teasers with weird images and screeching noises, and it all has built up to their brand new monster, “The Negative One”.
Stream it below on their official website or send me a message so I can hook you up with a HQ MP3 of the single!
