Freshly back from touring Europe, Ottawa’s folk troubadour Kalle Mattson is streaming his new album Someday, the Moon Will Be Gold. One of the capital’s finest, Mattson’s new release has drawn a lot of attention, the album is streaming on The New York Times and Exclaim! websites. Someday, the Moon Will Be Gold was produced by the talented Gavin Gardiner of the Wooden Sky, with guests including Jeremy Fisher and members of Cuff the Duke. This is the third-album by Mattson and it is a beautiful collection of 12 great tunes, some very dark and some quite rocking. Take a listen below and let us know what you think.
