2014 was a groundbreaking year for Ottawa music. You’ve probably seen a lot of “top lists” out there, including our own, that give you a few new options to check out. But what about all the others?

We asked artists to submit their 2014 releases to us in a form last month and the results were pretty astonishing. What we’ve come up with is a list that’s both user-submitted and compiled by Showboxers. We tried our best to capture everything but there was just so much out there that it’s certainly possible we missed a few.
